What I’ve Been Wearing
Sad to say, very little hand-knitted stuff. My mad dash on Saturday meant that, rather like my yarn packing, my clothes packing was a bit slapdash too. I have knitwear with me, mostly store-bought. I do have my Bláithín with me, and a shawl, a couple of hats (Snapdragon Tam and Ripley) and a pair of mittens. That’s it. I also have a cowl, but that is made from pure Llama so really shouldn’t count. The others are either pure wool or wool blend – so a bit better.
I figure I better knit more of the bag of randomness and then I have some other things to wear.
What I’ve Been Knitting
Socks! The lovely (and free) Water for the Elephants pattern in Yarn Yard Clan – which is a very Wovember friendly 100% Merino – the first sock is completely done, and the second just needs the foot finished. And more Merino in the form of Drops Merino Extra Fine in the new Woolly Wormhead Mystery Hat KAL – Clue #1 is completely done, am eagerly awaiting the next one.
What I’ve Been Spinning
Nothing! Oops… although I have just signed up for the Hilltop Cloud Best of British Fibre Club. So that has to count for something, right?
