Gauge
Minimum 21 sts x 24 rows = 4 “ / 10 cm in stocking stitch, worked flat, after blocking

Size
Minimum size: 46.25 x 23.5 “ / 120 x 60 cm

Notes
Charts
Charts do not show edge stitchess, or stitch markers. Work first and last 3 sts of every row (both right and wrong sides of the shawl) in knit stitch, to create a garter stitch edge.

Gauge
Minimum gauge is specified, this will achieve a more defined look to the pattern. For a more flowing shawl (see main sample), a looser gauge can be used. It is recommended that swatches are completed before starting to determine the desired look. If working at a very loose gauge please bear in mind that definition may be lost and additional yarn required.

Edging
If you wish to extend the edging, the final rows can be repeated as desired.
