Cardona

Located in Catalonia, around 100 kilometres from Barcelona lies Cardona – the home of a salt mountain. Mined for cetnruies, the salt mines have formed elaborate and beautiful tunnels and caverns of pink-hued salt, dripping with stalagmites and stalagtites.

This DK-weight hat uses cables to create gently tapering forms, to create and interesting texture and pattern based on the natural formation of the mines from Cardona.

Samples (both size M) shown in La Bien Aimée Merino DK, in the ‘Pêche Mignon’ colour way (pink) and Rowan Hemp Tweed, in the ‘Kelp’ colour way (Shade 142) (yellow).

Cardona is the first pattern released in the collection ‘A Love Like Salt: South.’
