Delphos

Delphos is an homage to the pleated and beaded gowns of the fashion designer Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo, which freed from women from the constraining support garments in the early twentieth century. Flowing lines, beads and lace detailing create a relaxed but partially fitted garment. This pattern originally appeared in Knit Now Magazine, Issue 55, December 2015.

Sample shown (size S) uses Yarn Stories Fine Merino 4 ply in the ‘Lilac’ (shade 2511) colour way.
