Notes
Colours
The pattern is written using equal quantities of four different shades of yarn; if desired, the shawl can be worked in any combination of colours or textures – please note that yarn quantities will vary depending on your chosen selection.
Charts
Both written instructions and charts are included, the charts show all edge and centre stitches. Take care to note which colours are used in each chart.
Elongated Slip Stitches
These are created by working yarn overs with additional wraps around the working needle; these additional loops can be dropped on the following row, to make a single stitch. Yarn overs are not counted in the row stitch totals, as they ‘float’ above the main body of the shawl before being decreased when working the cables.
