Milos

A cosy cowl with intertwining, knotted cables and broken rib edging, worked from the top-down in worsted weight.

The name derives from the ancient Greek word for the Yew tree.

Sample shown uses Ginger’s Hand Dyed Pep in your Step Worsted, in the ‘Mulled Wine’ colour way.

220 yds / 199 m worsted weight yarn 
4 mm / US 6 circular needle 
Stitch markers (1-7) 
Cable needles (2) 
Tapestry needle

Dimensions 
Diameter 20 “ / 53 cm; height 9 “ / 23 cm.

Gauge 
26 sts x 36 rows = 4 “ / 10 cm in stocking st / broken rib

Customisation 
The cowl can be increased or decreased in diameter by adding or removing repeats. Each repeat of the cable is approximately 2.75 “ / 7 cm. Please note if increasing the pattern additional yarn will be required.
