So, the last couple of months have been a bit manic to say the least which meant the wee blog has been a bit neglected. But I’m back now, so things should start getting back on an even keel (I say should, I know what I’m like in these situations).
So today I’m introducing a new segment, which is basically ‘things which got my attention this week’, except with a slightly more memorable title.
- The inaugural Indie Burgh Yarn Crawl is tomorrow! With raffles, freebies, limited edition yarn, sock patterns and much more, including a pub. I’ll be along at the Safari Lounge from 1pm, taking raffle entries so if you are in the area come along! One of the raffle prizes is a complete kit bundle from Kathy’s Knits with my Hildasay Tam and Mitten pattern!
- Also related to the Yarn Crawl, the very talented JavaPurl/C.C.Almon has produced a special sock pattern for the day – find it here on Ravelry, and if you watch her podcast you’ll be able to get a special discount code too! Watch the podcast too anyway – it is a lot of fun!
- Owl Print Panda has added a line of hand-dyed yarn to her Etsy store.
- And apparently, yarn packaging helped solve a burglary!
